Scott and Julie Wright

Wright Robertson of Glencoe is a family owned winery owned and operated by ourselves, Scott and Julie Wright.

We operate a small vineyard and winery on the New England Tablelands of New South Wales, 18km south of Glen Innes at Glencoe at 1150m above sea level. The vineyard was established in 1999 and is certified Organic with Australian Certified Organic (ACO). Our winery is also a certified processor with ACO where we crush approximately 50 tonnes per vintage.

We grow Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Shiraz with a small area of Riesling. We also buy grapes for processing from other small organic and conventional vineyards and do contract winemaking for other growers.

We do all the processing and bottling on site and pride ourselves in producing a high quality product from both Certified Organic Grapes and high quality New England Grapes (Conventional).

Much of our processing is based on traditional techniques such as using a basket press, barrel fermentation and maturation, traditional oak barrels for storage, minimal preservatives and traditional fining agents such as skim milk and eggs.
